Shoppers can sample a taste of food from all over the globe when the “flavours of the world” market visits Chichester later this month.
The market will trade on North Street from Thursday August 10 until Saturday August 12 (9am to 4pm), with 28 carefully selected international stalls selling top quality artisan-produced foods and craft products from around the world.
There will be a wide variety of produce to choose from including Italian sweets and biscuits, French cheeses, and cured meats sourced from around Europe. There will even be a selection of craft stalls, including Moroccan rugs and throws, Baltic jewellery and finely woven Italian clothing.
Chichester District Council member for environment services John Connor said: “We are looking forward to welcoming this visiting market to our city centre. This will hopefully attract shoppers from across the area, resulting in more trade for our high street. There will be a range of intriguing produce and crafts for sale so we’d encourage people to come down and discover what’s on offer.”
