Chichester City get the chance to go within two points of SCFL Premier division leaders Shoreham when they travel to Newhaven tomorrow night.
Miles Rutherford’s side go to Trafalgar Road in fine some following a convincing 4-2 win over Hassocks at Oaklands park on Saturday.
But it was the visitors who took the lead on nine minutes when Michael Death score, only for Scott Jones to grab the first of his brace to level things up five minutes later.
Keiran Hartley made it 2-1 after 23 minutes but Hassocks showed steel to come back to 2-2 thanks to James Westlake’s strike on 27 minutes.
Dan watts pinched five minutes later to restore the home side’s lead and Jones bagged his second after 36 minutes to make it 4-2.
Selsey won 2-0 against Southwick at the Bunn Leisure Stadium thanks to goals from Joe Manners and Bradley Dean.
