A Chichester care home has been awarded the “Premier” status for hospitality excellence, marking its first anniversary by reaching the highest possible tier of industry accreditation.

Signature at Chichester, located on Fishbourne Road East, received the top-level ranking from Hospitality Assured in September 2026, exactly one year after the facility first opened its doors to residents in September 2025.

The “Premier” designation is the highest level of accreditation offered by Hospitality Assured, a standard for service and business excellence managed by the Institute of Hospitality. To achieve this tier, organisations must demonstrate world-class service standards across a rigorous nine-step assessment process.

Assessment and Standards

The accreditation framework evaluates a facility’s performance in several key business areas, including customer research, business planning, service delivery, and resource management. By securing the Premier status, the Chichester home has been recognised for operating at an elite level within the sector.

The facility provides a range of specialist services, including nursing care, assisted living, and dedicated dementia support. The award focuses specifically on the hospitality and service elements of the resident experience, ensuring that the day-to-day environment meets high-level professional standards.

The care home is situated at PO19 3HZ on Fishbourne Road East. Since its opening 12 months ago, the home has worked through the Hospitality Assured assessment to verify its internal processes and service quality against national benchmarks.

Hospitality Assured remains the only standard for service and business excellence specifically designed for the hospitality industry, used by various organisations to measure their competitiveness and resident satisfaction levels.
