Chichester College chief executive Shelagh Legrave helped more than 30 graduates celebrate the fruition of their hard work at a special graduation ceremony.
Mrs Legrave, OBE, was on hand to pay tribute to the successful students at the gathering, held at the college, and to recognise their efforts and achievements.
The students have completed various professional business courses – from accounting to marketing, and from human resources to management. And many of them have been studying alongside working in full-time employment.
Speaking at last week’s ceremony, which several of the college’s business students helped to plan, Mrs Legrave said: “It is important to fully recognise the phenomenal achievements made by these students.
“To combine studying and working is not an easy task. It is a constant juggling act and I can speak with first-hand experience as to how challenging it can be.
“But it is also incredibly rewarding when you complete your course and take the next steps in building your career. We can’t underestimate the importance of continuing training and development, it really does make a difference. Congratulations to all of our business graduates, class of 2017.”
