Coffee shop owner Marc Perry has revealed he is re-launching his popular venue Antibassi as Forum Cafe and Wine Bar next month.

And Marc says the change comes after feedback from customers after five years of growing the business, including an expansion into a bigger space last year.

He explained: “Since we opened the coffee shop in 2012, we’ve listened and responded to our customers to bring in more choice and expand the food and drink side of the business beyond great coffee.

“We’ve looked at how the space is being used, our customers’ routines: from the simple pleasure of a good coffee with a friend; a pre-work pick me up; a post-work wind down; for dog lovers; to a well-used meeting venue.

“We wanted the new name and fresher look to reflect this and to share a nod to Chichester’s Roman origins. Forum delivers: it’s a marketplace, a public space and an open space for ideas and views to be exchanged in a relaxed and welcoming environment.”

The venue will continue to offer a hand-picked selection of speciality beers, spirits and wines, as well as teas, soft drinks, food and, of course, coffee. It will be closed from Monday 21st August and re-opening on Friday 1st September at 8am.
