Chichester College will be rocking this weekend, with the return of Chi-Fest on Saturday.

This annual musical extravaganza will see the college campus brought to life with nine hours of live music across three stages, as well as an acoustic tent.

More than 50 live bands are set to perform, showcasing the musical talents of college students (past and present) as well as local groups, musicians and performers.

There will be plenty of family activities, with lots to keep the kids entertained including dance workshops and sing-a-longs – as well as the Greatest Showman Experience!

If you feel inspired, there will be an open mic platform – allowing you the opportunity to shine on stage.

Andrew Green, Chichester College principal, said: “Chi-Fest is one of our biggest events and is a great way to bring the college and community together.

“We’re proud to have so much talent here at the college and in the wider area, so Chi-Fest provides a fantastic opportunity to shine the spotlight on this.

“As always, we are sure to have a diverse mix of music styles from folk to rock and everything in between, ensuring there will be something to suit everyone’s tastes.

“It really is a great family day out, giving you a chance to relax – hopefully in the sunshine – and enjoy some live music while the kids have fun too.”

Performers at this year’s Chi-Fest include Noah’s House Band, Lobster Pot, Dan Coates, Lock ‘N’ Throw and Lemon Juice. There will also be musical workshops and masterclasses, as well as food and drink.

Chi-Fest takes place on Saturday 9 June, midday until 9pm. Admission is free.
