The parent company behind several of the UK’s most prominent boutique fitness brands has announced the immediate closure of its entire studio portfolio.
Common Bond, the wellness collective that operates brands including Barrecore, Boom Cycle, KOBOX, Reformcore, and Triyoga, notified customers of the decision on 23 September 2026. In an email sent to members, the company stated that all studios would remain shut “until further notice”.
The move affects a significant number of high-end fitness locations across the country. Barrecore, known for its ballet-based workouts, operated studios with a footprint extending beyond London to Bristol, Leeds, and Cheshire locations such as Alderley Edge and Hale. Boom Cycle, a popular indoor cycling brand, operated four standalone studios in the capital, including sites in Shoreditch, Holborn, Hammersmith, and Battersea.
